Rita Gautreau, 92, of Villa du Repos, and formerly of Gautreau Village, passed away on Sunday, July 18, 1999 at the Villa du Repos.
Born in 1906 in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Marcelin Bourgeois and Marguerite Bourgeois.
She is survived by six step daughters; Thérèse (Frank) Gautreau of Dieppe, Florence (Hervé) Lirette of Dover, Fox Creek, Eliane (Dollard) LeBlanc of Dover, Fox Creek, Huberte Gautreau of Moncton, Anne-Marie (Albert) LeBlanc of Belliveau Village, Murielle (Jean-Marie) Gallant of St-Anselme; two step sons, Cléophas (Emma) Gautreau of Moncton, Roger (Roberta) Gautreau of Dieppe; 22 step grandchildren; 27 step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Adélard Gautreau; one sister, Dora Belliveau; seven brothers, Jos, Léo, Eddée, Armand, Ernest, Willie and Gérard.
Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home Ltd., Memramcook, NB, with the Funeral service to be held at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut, on Tuesday, July 20, 1999 at 7 pm. Interment in Parish Cemetery, Pré-d'en-Haut.
